Launceston Family Day Care has a delightful team of Child Carer’s who provide quality child care from their own homes. We commenced operation in 2006 and now operate throughout the ‘63’ telephone area in north and north-eastern Tasmania. At present, our Carer’s provide over 7,500 hours of child care each week to approximately 400 families. Our Philosophy We believe that development and learning are a lifelong process which is influenced by interactions and relationships with others. We value the uniqueness of each family, their culture, customs, language and beliefs and as such, Carers support children’s wellbeing and learning by creating possibilities and opportunities for them to engage with and learn from. Our staff provide support and training to Carers to promote;- · positive relationships with others · equity and diversity · the provision of a holistic program for children |
